 YOMOU was founded in 1992 as a spin off company of POTEN Industry (1973). It was set up as a trading firm, exclusively handles POTEN's foreign trading business, and help its clients conduct product research, design, communications and management in Taiwan or Asia.
POTEN Industry, founded in late 1973, started as a home factory with roll-formed steel tubes as its sole product, supplying to domestic factories for various kinds of application and industry.
Later, the company further extended its product range and started to work with badminton racquets, net sets and baby doll cart. That's when the company first expended its reach to the international trading circle and presented its products on a global scale. By 1980』s, 70% of its sales were in sports equipment, and 90% of its sales were from international orders.
Throughout the years of operation, they have been working with various types of industries and products, though, their major production lines remains in the sporting field. Specifically, in-home use sporting goods of any kind, recreational-use sporting goods, and Physical Education equipment for education use with target audiences that are children, aged from three years old to early teens. (10~12 years old)
